PhonePad 5 will run on virtually any Windows-based network. If your computers are interconnected in some way then PhonePad should run fine.

Microsoft Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008, 2012 or higher. Memory: 640MB

Host PC *

Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10 or higher (32 bit or 64 bit). Memory: 640MB

Workstations connect with the PhonePad 5 Server via TCP on port 12600. This is the data port. The internal notification messaging and broadcast system uses TCP port 12601. The automatic update system uses TCP port 12610. The Caller ID service uses UDP on port 3520 and 12605. The Auto-Discovery System uses UDP on port 15350. Embedded internal, self-managed, zero-configuration SQL database engine. Message storage capacity: over 1 billion messages.

Licensing PhonePad is quick and simple. Just enter your license info, one click, and you're done! Here are the steps: 1. Select License from the Help menu. 2. Enter the Client Number that you received when you purchased PhonePad. 3. Enter the Email Address you provided when you purchased PhonePad. 4. Enter the Serial Number that you received when you purchased PhonePad. 5. Click the Activate button. This step will retrieve your license key from our license server (this may take a couple of minutes because the License program has to establish a connection with the license server, verify your details, and then download the license key). 6. The license key will be installed in your PhonePad database. Please note: The above steps only need to be performed once on your network. You do not need to perform these steps on each workstation as, once the license key is installed, all workstations are automatically licensed. Important: You may need to configure your firewall software to allow this connection. If you get a message from PhonePad program saying that it can't connect to the license server, please check your firewall software as it is probably blocking the connection.
