PhonePad consists of two parts: the Server software and the Workstation software.  This is commonly known as Client/Server software.

 

The Server software is installed on your Server.  If you don't have a Server, or don't have access to it, you can install the Server software on one of your workstations (we call this a Host PC).  It can still be used as a workstation.

 

The Workstation software is installed on each of your workstations.

 

When PhonePad starts, it automatically connects to your Server or Host PC.
