Sometimes problems can't be resolved by email or phone calls. In these situations we can use

remote support to fix the issue you're having with PhonePad.

Here's how it works.

We send you a link with a special code embedded. When you click on the link, a small application

will be downloaded to your computer which you then run (it can automatically delete itself at the

end of your remote support session). Once you have connected to the remote support session, we

will then connect to your computer and access it as though we were actually sitting at your

computer. It's the next best thing to on-site support!

At the same time, we will also phone you so we can talk. If you don't

have a phone near your computer, we can open a chat window (this

functionality is built in to the remote support software). The good

news is you can see everything we do, and you have complete control over the connection - you

can end it at any time you want (although it would be a good idea to wait until we've solved your

problem).

We use Citrix GoToAssist for remote support. No one else can connect except us, and the

connections are encrypted so there's no worries about security.

Depending on the nature of the problem, we may need to charge for the remote support

session. We will notify you up front if this is required.

If a charge is required, you will need to pay for the remote support session in advance. The current

fee for remote support is $47 per session.

Please keep in mind that we don't use remote support for all issues as it can be time consuming

and a bit of an overkill for many problems.
