Repairing Your PhonePad Database.

Please follow these steps to repair your PhonePad database:

  1. Ask all users to log out of PhonePad (and PhonePad Admin). This step is vital. If users are still logged in to PhonePad the repair will fail.
  2. Run DBRepair.
  3. Click the Repair option.
  4. This may take a while if you have a lot of messages.
  5. Check the repair log. If there are any red crosses then someone still has PhonePad open and you will need to repeat the above steps.
  6. Sometimes the repair process requires more than one pass to fix all of the issues. If the repair log shows that errors were fixed, repeat steps 3 - 5 until it no longer reports any problems.
  7. If the repair log still reports problems after 2 or 3 repairs, please contact us and let us know. We will need to remote connect and do a "deep" repair.
