When you have been using PhonePad for a while you will probably accumulate a lot of messages. If you frequently delete messages or move them between folders your PhonePad database could become fragmented, resulting in slower performance.
This can easily be corrected by using the Optimize option in DBRepair. Here are the steps to follow:
Ask all users to log out of PhonePad (and PhonePad Admin). This step is vital. If users are still logged in to PhonePad the optimization will fail.
Click the Optimize option.
Click Yes when prompted.
This can take a long time if you have a lot of messages.
the repair log. If there are any red crosses then someone still has
PhonePad open and you will need to repeat the above steps.
you still get red crosses in the repair log and everyone is definitely
logged out of PhonePad, you will need to reboot your Host PC/Server to
force Windows to release the file locks.
