PhonePad Has Stopped Connecting to the PhonePad Server.

If PhonePad was connecting fine to the PhonePad Server but has now stopped connecting, the most likely cause is the server's IP address has changed. If the server is configured to use a dynamic IP address, Windows will often change the IP address when the server or Host PC is rebooted.

1.  Run ServerManager.
2.  Click the small button next to the Server IP Address field.
3.  If the IP Address changes in the Server IP Address field, this means that the server's IP Address has changed.
4.  Make a note of the new IP Address.  You will need to configure PhonePad to use this new address.

5.  Open the PhonePad folder and run DBConnect.
6.  Click the Server tab.


7.  Enter the new Server IP Address.
8.  Click OK.

Note: Applies only to PhonePad configured for Remote Mode.
