Welcome to PhonePad v4.03.
The following new features have been added to the PhonePad system in this release:
| • | Receptionist Access - Receptionists no longer get automatic access to all Inboxes. This new feature allows you to specify which Inboxes receptionists can access. Refer to the PhonePad Admin module for more information. |
| • | Message Exporting - New export options have been added to the print preview window, allowing you to export messages to Word, HTML and PDF files. |
| • | Caller Lookup - When composing phone messages, you can now popup the new Caller Lookup window that shows all contacts in your PhonePad Address Book This allows you to ensure you select the correct caller when there are similar or identical names. |
This version of PhonePad includes the following changes:
| • | DBConnect has a new UNC button to convert the data directory to a UNC path. |
| • | New AutoComplete option under Preferences allows you to turn off the caller autocomplete feature. |
| • | Date and Time Stamp option added to message area popup menu in phone and text messages. |
| • | Removed Inbox button from message notification popup (this was redundant functionality). |
| • | Removed MIDAS.DLL dependency from DBRepair (it no longer requires this DLL). |
| • | New Prompt to Save When Changed option under Preferences allows you to disable save prompt when changes have been made to a received message. |
| • | Messages can now be marked as unread (popup menu in Inbox). |
| • | Change in message icons in message lists. |
The following problems have been fixed in this release:
| • | Address Book filtering problem - FIXED. |
| • | Check box printing - FIXED. |
| • | Follow up notes not being saved in phone message window - FIXED. |
| • | Message subject not being transferred to personal folders - FIXED. |
| • | Miscellanous printing problem resolved. |
