Phone Message Subject

Subject Prefix
|
When checked and a prefix is specified, the subject field in new phone messages will be automatically prefixed with the text you enter.
|

|
Use Message Details When Subject is Blank
|
When checked, the subject field will contain message details if the Subject field is left blank. For example: Phoned - Please Phone.
|
|
|
Prevent messages from being sent if subject is blank
|
When checked, messages cannot be sent if the Subject field is blank in a telephone or text message.
|
|
|
|

Recipient List

Disable mouse in Recipient List
|
When checked, the mouse cannot be used to select names in the Recipient List in telephone messages. This option is generally used to prevent accidental selection of names when using the keyboard for recipient selection.

Inbox Message List Colors
|
|
|
This option allows you to set the color of messages as they appear in the Inbox message list. By using different colors, you can visually differentiate between message types.

|
Unread Messages
|
Messages that haven't been read yet, including new messages, will be displayed in the message list using the selected color. This setting can be overridden by the other settings below (ie. Urgent Messages, Private Messages, Followup Messages and Group Messages). The default is blue.

Urgent Messages 1
|
Urgent messages will be displayed in the selected color. The default is red.
|
|
|
Read Messages
|
Messages that have been read will be displayed in the selected color. The default is black.
|
|
|
Private Messages 1
|
Messages that are marked as Private will be displayed in the selected color. The default is Green.
|
|
|
Followup Messages 2
|
Messages that are marked for follow up will be displayed in the selected color. The default is Fuchsia.
|
|
|
Group Messages 1
|
Group messages are messages that are sent to more than one person. These messages will be displayed in the selected color. The default is Purple.

Message Lists

Select Latest Message
|
When checked, the Inbox message list will always scroll to the latest message when new messages are received.
|
|
|
Message Sorting
|
This option allows you to specify the sort order of all message lists in PhonePad, including the Follow Up Notes list. You can set this option to either display the newest messages at the bottom of the list or the top.
