The login dialog is displayed when PhonePad starts up.  To login, you need a valid username and password.  If you don't have one, ask your PhonePad Administrator to create one for you.

 

Please note that, although the user name is not case-sensitive, the password is.  If you have your caps lock on, CAPS LOCK will appear in red  on the login dialog to warn you.

 

Once you have typed in your user name and password, click OK to continue the login process.  You will be given three attempts to login.  After a third unsuccessful attempt PhonePad will automatically shut down.

The login dialog will display either (Local) or (Remote) in the title bar to let you know that you are connecting to the PhonePad database in either Local Mode or Remote Mode.
