Exporting Messages to Text File

This option allows you to export your PhonePad messages to one or more text files.  The messages can be either stored in one single text file, or individual files for each message.

 

 

 ExportMessages

 

 

To export messages:

 

1.In the Inbox, select the messages to export.

 

2.Select Export Messages to Text File from the Tools menu.

 

3.Enter the export directory, or click on the ellipsebutton and select the appropriate directory.

 

4.Select either Single file or Individual files.

 

5.Click OK.

 

 

The name of the text files generated are in the following format (depending on your regional date format):

 

                 mmddyyyyx.txt

 

Eg.  022320020.txt, 022320021.txt, 022320022.txt.
