Individual phone or text messages can be sent to an email address. All you need to do is select the message and then click on the Email Message button on the toolbar, or select Email Message from the File menu.
The Select Recipients list on the left side of the dialog displays all PhonePad users that have an email address defined in the system. If they don't have an email address they won't appear in the list.*
The message can be sent to as many email addresses as you like. Just add them to the list on the right by selecting them and clicking the right arrow button. Email addresses can be removed from the right-hand list by selecting them and clicking on the left arrow button.
Other email addresses can be added by entering them in the Enter an email address box and clicking the right arrow button next to it.
You can also add attachments by clicking on the button and selecting one or more attachments. Use the button to clear all attachments from the list.
Click the OK button to send the message.
Please note that you will need to select the Email Method under Settings. If you select SMTP then you will need to specify your SMTP server settings and email account details.
* Users can add their email address to the system via the Message Forwarding dialog (the Send to Email Address option does not have to be checked).
