Forum Emailing Problems.

We are experiencing some problems getting the email facilities to work correctly on these forums. This includes sending emails to other forum members as well as the confirmation emails that are sent out when you register. At the moment we have to manually confirm the registrations because of this issue.

We are working on getting it resolved as soon as possible.

Just a quick update on this. The problem seems to be caused by some sort of compatibility issue between the forum software and our web hosting services. The forum software is unable to recognize any of the authentication protocols used by the SMTP server.

We have routed the emails to an alternative SMTP server but the forum software seems to be experiencing timeout issues with this server.

A frustrating exercise to say the least. We are continuing to work on the problem.
