Using MessageSender 5 with GMail Accounts.

GMail accounts require TLS (Transport Layer Security) for authentication. Click the Authentication button on the Email Settings screen and then select the settings as shown below:



You can test these settings by clicking the Test button on the Email Settings screen. The highlighted text shows a successful connection.



If successful, you should receive a test email from MessageSender in your GMail Inbox.
